Kampala, Uganda - National Unity Platform leader, Bobi Wine, was noticeably absent from his younger brother Mikie Wine's concert held at Jahazi Pier in Munyonyo over the weekend. The highly anticipated event drew a sizable crowd, with fans eager to see Mikie Wine perform his popular hits.

Mikie Wine, whose real name is Michael Mukwaya, revealed in an interview with ShivoUpdates Media that Bobi Wine was still recovering from injuries sustained during a recent altercation with police in Bulindo.

 The incident has sparked widespread concern among Bobi Wine's supporters, who have been calling for his safety and well-being.


Despite his brother's absence, Mikie Wine's concert was deemed a success, with a good turnout and impressive performances. Mikie Wine emphasized that the night belonged to him and his fans, who were treated to a great show. 

"It was my night, and people came out to watch me perform," Mikie Wine said. "But you all know, the big man has official endeavors that have made him quite busy. Also, he is still nursing injuries, so he failed to make it to my concert physically, but we were there with him in spirit."
