Eddy Kenzo Earns Millions Annually as an Adviser

Kampala, Uganda - Eddy Kenzo, a renowned Ugandan musician, was appointed as a Senior Presidential Adviser on Creatives. This new role comes with a substantial salary of 28.5 million Ugandan shillings (UGX) per year.

As President of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), Kenzo will utilize his vast experience to advise the government on effective strategies to support and develop the country's thriving creative industry. His annual salary breaks down to UGX 2,382,082 per month.

Other notable Presidential Advisers, including Catherine Kusasira, Bucha Man, and Jennifer Full Figure, earn a similar salary. Kenzo's appointment, announced in August, has sparked excitement within Uganda's artistic community.

In his new capacity, Kenzo aims to promote professionalism, education, and training within the creative sector. He also plans to advocate for stronger copyright laws and enhance global competitiveness.
