Kampala, Uganda - Celebrated Ugandan singer Spice Diana has sparked a vital conversation in the music industry, attributing the escalating clashes among female artists to deep-seated insecurities.
In a candid interview on NBS TV's KURT show with Tuff B on Saturday, Spice Diana shared her perspective on the perceived rivalries. "Women in the industry have many insecurities. We look at each other as threats. It's a very different mindset among male entertainers."
Spice Diana emphasized that this mindset fuels tensions and clashes. "Men can love the same woman and remain friends, but that can never happen amongst women. That's just natural for women."
"As I've grown in the industry, I've learned to never hide my feelings. If you have feelings against someone, say it, call them out, don't hold back." She said.
Her remarks come amidst heated clashes with fellow singers Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu. Additionally, Catherine Kusasira's concert is scheduled on the same date as Spice Diana's milestone event in January.
Industry insiders have praised Spice Diana's honesty, hoping it will inspire self-reflection and encourage female artists to address their insecurities and work towards unity.
Spice Diana's concert, commemorating a decade in the music industry, promises to be an unforgettable experience. Fans eagerly anticipate her performances, which will showcase her growth and talent.
